How I Work: Insightful, Attuned, and Results-Oriented Therapy in Los Angeles
At the heart of my work as a licensed clinical psychologist in California is compassionate, attuned support that meets you exactly where you are — without judgment and without pressure.
Therapy with me is both deeply supportive and thoughtfully direct. Clients often describe my style as emotionally attuned, grounded, and honest. I listen closely — not only to what you say, but to what feels hard to articulate. The pauses, the shifts in tone, the themes beneath the surface — they all matter.
My work is informed by psychoanalysis and attachment theory, with particular attention to the patterns, relationships, desires, and experiences that shape how you understand yourself and relate to others.
You set the pace. You remain in control of your story. My role is to help you uncover insight, strengthen emotional awareness, and build the confidence to respond differently to the challenges in your life.
In our work together, therapy is not just about symptom relief. It is about clarity, resilience, and lasting change.
If You’re Here, Something in You Is Ready for Change
You’re likely here because something in you recognizes that the way you’ve been feeling — or the patterns you keep finding yourself in — no longer feel sustainable.
Perhaps you’ve been trying to make sense of things on your own. Replaying conversations. Questioning your reactions. Wondering why certain experiences affect you so deeply, or why familiar patterns continue to emerge despite your efforts to change them. You reflect, analyze, adapt, and keep moving forward.
And yet, something remains unresolved.
Anxiety persists. Self-doubt finds its way in. Relationships can evoke familiar feelings of uncertainty, disconnection, or longing. You may understand intellectually what is happening and still find yourself responding in ways that feel difficult to change.
Often, these patterns have a history. The ways we learn to cope, relate to others, seek closeness, or protect ourselves develop for a reason. Over time, however, what once helped us navigate our experiences may begin to limit us.
Beginning therapy can be an acknowledgment that these ways of coping, relating, or protecting yourself may no longer be serving you. It creates an opportunity to understand these patterns more deeply — not simply to eliminate discomfort, but to become more curious about what it may be communicating.
Through that understanding, new possibilities can emerge: greater emotional freedom, more meaningful relationships, and a different way of relating to yourself and to others.
You do not have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Sometimes, the desire to understand yourself differently is enough.
you’re in the right spot.

in therapy with me…
We’ll Go Beneath the Surface - And Toward Lasting Change.
In our work together, we begin with what feels most immediate and alive for you — the anxiety that won’t quiet down, the relationship patterns that keep repeating, the emotional weight you’ve been carrying alone.
You don’t need perfect language. You don’t need a polished story. And you don’t need to know where to start.
That’s part of my role.
We slow things down enough to truly understand what’s happening beneath the surface — the emotions, defenses, expectations, and experiences shaping your reactions. Therapy becomes a space where what once felt confusing begins to make sense.
As we explore, we may examine how earlier experiences continue to influence your present relationships, self-perception, and decision-making. Not to stay stuck in the past — but to free you from patterns that no longer serve you.
At the same time, we stay grounded in your current reality. Your day-to-day stressors. Your relationships. Your inner dialogue. The choices in front of you right now.
Together, we clarify what you want your future to feel like — not just what you want to achieve, but how you want to experience your life. More steady. More intentional. More aligned.
Therapy isn’t about endlessly analyzing. It’s about building insight that leads to freedom, confidence, and meaningful change.
And we move at a pace that feels steady, respectful, and emotionally safe.
You’re in Charge — Therapy That Honors Your Autonomy
Many people begin therapy feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from their own sense of control. Perhaps you’ve spent years meeting expectations, managing other people’s needs, or pushing yourself to “handle it” no matter how heavy things felt.
In this space, that pattern shifts.
Therapy with me is collaborative and client-led. You decide what we focus on, how quickly we move, and what feels safe to explore. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is imposed. If something feels too fast, we slow down. If something needs more clarity, we stay with it.
My role is not to take control of your story — it’s to help you understand it more deeply.
I offer guidance, structure, and psychological insight, while honoring your autonomy and internal wisdom. You are not here to be fixed. You are here to reconnect with your own capacity for clarity, choice, and emotional resilience.
When you’re given room to reflect rather than react, patterns begin to loosen. Anxiety softens. Relationship dynamics become clearer. Decisions feel more intentional. Over time, many clients notice a shift — from feeling stuck or self-doubting to feeling grounded, capable, and self-trusting.
That’s not accidental. It’s the result of doing meaningful work in a space where your voice truly matters.
Here, your perspective is respected. Your pace is honored. And your growth unfolds in a way that feels steady and lasting.
A different future doesn’t begin with pressure — it begins with agency.
